"As I was reading Gary Sirak’s book, I realized that millions of other Americans could also identify creative and productive heroes that match the individuals he introduces us to in the American Dream Revisited. Nowhere else on the planet would this be true, and it’s true everywhere in America. A great gift of storytelling that relates to all of us."
Dan Sullivan, Founder of Strategic Coach
“The American Dream Revisited is a great read for everyone. The stories of the men and women who changed their lives to achieve the American Dream proves the dream is alive and well. In fact, I am living proof that anyone can achieve the American Dream.”
Vernice “FlyGirl” Armour, First African American Female Combat Pilot, Motivational Speaker and author
“As founder of the non-profit American Dream U, I help the women and men of our military transition back into civilian life. I found The American Dream Revisited loaded with stories and practical ideas that will help the soldiers to discover their American Dream.”

“The American Dream is alive and well. Not only can I prove it. But I can help you reach yours.”
My goal is to help as many people as I can to explore the opportunities and possibilities of their lives and give them skills and tools to achieve them.
I’ve been helping other people achieve their American Dream for the last 35 years of my life. I realize that’s not how everyone probably views selling insurance and financial planning, but they should.
I’m the CEO and top producing agent of Sirak Financial Services in Canton, Ohio. It’s a financial institution that’s been around for 60 years. It was started by my father, Stan Sirak, who taught me the most important lesson of my career: “My job isn’t to make as much money as I can. It’s to help the other person in the room accomplish their goals.”
I’ve written two books. The first, If Your Money Talked ... What Secrets Would It Tell? is about personal finance and the most common mistakes people make with their money. I’ve seen so many people make the same mistakes again and again with their money - so I decided to do something about it.
The second, The American Dream Revisited: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Results, is a deeply personal topic for me. While it’s true it was a serendipitous conversation at a coffee shop that spurred me on to write it, the ideas and beliefs of the book have been with me for my entire life.

The American Dream Revisited: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Results is a book of hope and optimism. It inspires people and gives them the other side of the story, an alternate narrative from the one so prevalent in the media today. Instead of beating people down and depressing them about their future, it lifts them up.
I’ve taken my 35+ year career in the financial industry and distilled what I’ve learned about achievement into 122 pages. It’s not only the stories of real people from all walks of life, covering four continents, and doing incredible things - but how they did them.
It teaches people the value of determination and grit. It speaks on the importance of education and mentorship. It highlights the value of having a sense of humor even in the most dire of circumstances and the power of giving back.
